    Good info above, just adding you don't need to remove sparkplugs, and if the connector on the trans is glued, some are, there's 2 bolts to remove it. Don't risk streaching the wires. Disconnect the battery. Trans lines install the clips when the trans is down.

    your gonna need ls7 lifters, lifter trays and valley cover then tune. to replace all this you have to pull the heads and thats where your labor all is.

    do you have enough trans fluid in there? did you fill the torque convertor before install? do you have an aftermarket tc or stock? if stock was it cleaned and freshened? what caused the old trans to go bad?
