    Yes sir. Went to dealer when I got mine. Needed a key for the wife. Gave them vin, he punched that into key machine and it spat out key. Pretty slick.

    This is what I would think as well. We have all gone over here or there on a need to get it done basis. But doing it right is The only way to go. The law probably wouldn't know the difference but safety of family comes first. Just don't do this. And yes the cop's were all over him.

    Sorry guy's. Been crazy busy kid shopping for back to school. Yes all is well. New pump arrived from Rock Auto arrived a day early.:D Went back together smoother than it came apart. No scorched wiring and no need to splice a new connnection.

    You did post in 00 - 06 but no big deal. CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID VALVE is what your looking for. It allows vapour to purge out when gas goes in. Had this once myself on my 03 in cold weather. They get clogged up from dust,dirt,road debris. On mine I cleaned the foam and all is good.

    Have seen this too. Such a problem that gm added a filter. Never saw this problem when the pump was at top like the previous generation 5.7's.

    Well beat the hell out of the tank and she fired again. Just got it on ramps and she died. Got lucky . Just waiting on pump now. Should be here tomorrow. My 3/4 tank was enough to fill wifes car and top up grandma's crv. And leave me with enough to get to gas station. And yes those are fuel...
