    Sunlitcomet...I replaced my steering pump and had to reposition the EVO 180 degrees. I cycled the steering lock to kock and bled the system. Go to drive the truck the next day and now no power steering. I have read that I can buy a remanufactured pump with a EVO bypass pipe, Is that recommended...

    Do the nickel plated yoke if you have the clunk. Sunlitcomet sent me to Fort Wayne Driveshaft for the replacement. What a difference, no clunk! I wasted a year and greased the yoke three times which lasted a few days.

    Suggestions concerning an odd vibration.

    I just had the Nickel Plated yoke installed. The dreaded clunk went away but I have the same vibration now at 65 mph. Going to pull the driveshaft next week and have it balanced.

    No more clunk, pulled the camper up to Lime rock for the vintage races. Sad loss of life as one racer rolled an old MG. Anyway I have a hum noise now and wonder if the Driveshaft is out of balance.

    Yea! I had the replacement yoke installed on my driveshaft yesterday and I installed the driveshaft without greasing the yoke and no clunk! Amazing realizing how annoying the clunk was after its gone. Now to figure out red or blue transfer case fluid, tag reads New Process, 246 GM, 1503 7551...

    Thanks once again SunLitComet. Just bought a yoke from Fort Wayne. They know their stuff. Found the right part and was $100 cheaper than GMPARTS DIRECT. Now if I could only get my money back from GMPARTS DIRECT for the wrong part they sold me.

    It is the female yoke this slides over the driveline output shaft to th drive shaft. It is nickel plated do as not to stick

    Definitely replace with a nickel plated unit.my problem is find ing the correct replacement.gmpartsdirect sent me the wrong part. Gm says use 12477704.I am trying to find some one here to corroborate the part number
