dash crack fix, has anyone used one of these?

Tried some epoxy today, not expecting it to last that long and it doesn't look very good. I've seen the top caps, and today I found this on ebay. Has anyone tried one of these?, it covers it all.

Yes, it does make sense, I was hoping for a DIY solution. I saw this link: http://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/in...n=com_virtuemart&Itemid=54&vmcchk=1&Itemid=54 It looks like the BCM has to be sent to them. I"m going to look around for a local source near Charlotte. Maybe I'm lucky, worst...

that's a good point, I thought about that and since the parking lights flash when I hit my remote to lock and when I do it to unlock. I thought about doing what you recommend, but jumping it from the parking lot flash?

Auto folding mirror mod - Anyone?

2007 Suburban LTZ, does anyone know of a module or hack that will auto fold the mirrors when the SUV is turned off at the key, or by the remote? Seems like I'm always stuck parking in a tight space with the Sub and usually remember to fold the mirrors in at the switch. But thought if there...

help, anything to improve this without a full restore

I got myself a used set of ltz 5 spoke wheels, overall they aren't bad, really dirty in these pics but the area that I'd like to improve is around the valve stems and what I believe was the area under the wheels weights at one time on the wheels. I thought about sanding just this area with some...

    Minimal lowering question

heres my current suburban, also a 4wd, lowered 2" in the rear with Belltech springs, not sure if i will lower the front with adjustable struts, or if springs will lower it 1". My other thought is go 2" in the front with drop spindles and go with a 3" lowered spring in the rear.

    Minimal lowering question

I searched through some old pics and found this of my previous tahoe. It was lowered 1" in rhe front with belltech adjustable struts and 2" in the rear with Belltech springs. Hope this helps.

Front spring question for police package, 2wd, and 4wd to lower

So I've looked but can't find my answer, but I'm sure someone here knows. I've got a 4wd LTZ, it's my 2nd 4wd over the year and it is 1" higher in the front then the same 2wd model. I put in the 2" lowering springs in the rear, and it's nice but close call to being lower than looks good to me...

Anyone do a 2" drop spindle and 2" rear spring

I just put in the 2" leveling Belltech rear springs and it did just what it was suppose to. Now It within 1/4" level from front to rear. As everyone knows, from some angles it gives the lower in the rear look. Has anyone just added a 2" drop spindle to the front to get some rake back into the...

    Eliminating that "lean"

With my previous ride, a 2007 LT3 4wd, I installed Belltech adjustable struts in the front and played around with the spacers to get it level from side to side and front to back. Actually, I adjusted it to have about a 1" rake and used Belltech 2" lowering springs in the rear. The LT3 was a...

    Dropped 2/2 search help

During one of my many searches I remember seeing a member that did a 2/2 drop on a suburban, I think it was white like mine. The end result was the person saying instead of doing a 2/4 drop and adding a 1" spacer, they would go with a 2/2 drop and keep the rake for towing. Anyway, it had some...

Tuner in or around Charlotte NC recommendations?

looking for a tuner service to spice up my 07 burb 4wd with 3.73 ratio. Think I’d like afm disabled and whatever the other normal tweaks are to give it some more peep. Going to add an air aid tube and do a resonator delete. Should I do those before the tune or does it matter. Thanks

    *sold*

Thanks, if someone can tell me if this will work for me, it’s just what I want. The spindles for the front should not be a problem. My rear with autoride has busted shock and a. Bad air compressor. So the only part working is the electronic dampening. With that in mind, I’m thinking the...

Escalade wheels peeling, anyone painted, plastidip, powdercoated anything besides black?

I got a set of older Escalade 22 rims for my Suburban, considering using them even though they are peeling around the valve stem, I don't want to make them black by the normal methods in my title, but considered doing that in a silver or gray. Has anyone here seen that or have a pic of someone...
