    Tailgate strikers

The GM number is 15013147 and the Dorman number is 38428. I like not having to "make" something work.

My 1998 2-door build is done - Pics, impressions (and need some input)

You seem like a bit of a stickler for quality and such; which kit should I be looking for on eBay?

    Tailgate strikers

Both the GM (shown in black) and the Dorman are a larger diameter, which is the same as the factory striker with the sleeve in place.

ZERO KNOWLEDGE of using Aftermarket Speakers, Amps, and FACTORY Radios - HELP NEEDED

I like originality and the budget plays a big part. I don't need anything fancy at all. It's never been a priority to me. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

ZERO KNOWLEDGE of using Aftermarket Speakers, Amps, and FACTORY Radios - HELP NEEDED

'97 GMC Yukon 4-Door. Standard radio, no BOSE system. Alright, so I had a couple of factory speakers blown out. I decided to "upgrade", within my budget, to some Pyramid 2-way and 3-way speakers. I DID NOT, until a few days ago, know that aftermarket speakers sucked when used with a factory...

    Quick Washer Fluid Line Question

That's the thing; I've not found anything wet.

    Window Stickers

I didn't have time today to call or visit the dealership where my Yukon was originally purchased, so I'll just ask if anyone has experience with this. Do dealerships normally keep records of vehicles they sold and would they possibly keep a copy of the window sticker?

    Quick Washer Fluid Line Question

ok. Well does anyone have a .pdf or anything showing the routing of the tubing? I traced it back, along the driver's side frame, to the fuel tank, but from there it goes upwards out of sight.

    Quick Washer Fluid Line Question

I'm losing washer fluid and I don't think the tank is the culprit. I'm thinking I have a hose break or something. My question is this. Where/How is the line ran from the front tank/pump to the rear wiper hose? '97 4-door. Thanks.

    P0430, Bad MPGs, Normal Driveability.

My '97 picked up a P0430 code a month or so ago. I didn't think much of it and erased the code. A week ago, the SES light came back on. I pulled the codes this afternoon and it was the same P0430 twice. In the past week, my fuel mileage has fell off (1/2 tank of gas in 60 miles). The truck still...

    what are these keys for?

I found these in my glove box today. Made of "plastic", I've no idea what they may be for. They are both the same, one is just turned over in the picture.

Massive hesitation, SES light flashing :(

I got the dreaded P0300 code yesterday after work. As soon as I started my Yukon, I noticed the idle was rough. It was slightly stumbling at idle in gear and had a large loss of power when accelerating; it sounded as if it was running on 5 or MAYBE 6 cylinders. SES light came on then started...

Massive hesitation, SES light flashing :(

Do the AC Delco 41-993 plugs need to be gapped? Silly question I know, but I've never ran a platinum plug. I'm currently having the same P0300 code issue.

18" Nissan Titan wheels on my '97

It was about time to buy new tires, and I came upon these Nissan Titan 18s with like new 265/70R18 BFGs for less than a new set of tires. I really like the look and I'd guess I gained about 3" of ground clearance. Since these photos (01/05/14), I've added "GMC" center cap decals and the proper...

    Replacement carpet

back from the dead lol... @osukellen What company did you end up using for replacement carpet? It's time for me to replace those in my '97, and $200 sounds great along with the good looking install you did. Thanks.

GMC owner in NC - not necessarily a newb ;)

Hey guys, my name is Earl and I live in Elizabeth City, NC with my wife. I owned a '92 GMC Suburban from '01 to '09 and I bought my parent's '97 Yukon a year and a half ago. It's got 212,000 miles on it and still runs fine; the Suburban had 256,000 on it when I sold it. It's taken me this long...
