    I definitely get better service at my Acura dealer than my GM dealer. $30K SUV vs $85K SUV. I believe the reason is Acura / Lexus separates their less expensive Honda /Toyota brands and GM doesn’t.

    Unless you’re adding a lot of diameter, the speedo will only be off a few mph at 65.

    Denali Duramax: Expectation vs. Reality

    I doubt the lifter / valve train problem is “guaranteed” to happen on every 2021 5.3 & 6.2 engine. I wish GM would release the data as to the number of V8s on the road vs the number of those affected. That being said, If my 5.3 goes down, I have my 3.0 to get me around.

    Not sure how mechanically inclined you are but you can purchase and replace the side glass yourself for cheaper than the insurance deductible assuming it's $500.

    I might be biased (I am) but the 3.0 Duramax is exactly what these large SUVs need. Toyota Camry fuel mileage in a huge 7-8 passenger vehicle :thumbsup:.

    Looks great:thumbsup:. Although I'm old and still like chrome, I definitely can recognize and appreciate good looking rides. Plus I'm somewhat lazy and would kill myself trying to keep that black looking great :p.

    I’m 100% satisfied with my 21 Trail Boss and 23 Yukon Denali. The TB has only 20K miles and the Yukon 8K. We also have a Toyota and a Honda for our kids with over 100K. Also zero problems

    6.2L or Duramax reliability

    I have the 5.3 in my 21 Trail Boss. It’s more than capable. Has more HP/TQ than I need. I tow a 3500lb boat and occasionally use 4wd. I use it like most 1/2 Ton truck buyers use their trucks. I also have a 3.0 Duramax in my 23 Yukon but Denali. Absolutely love the Diesel/ 10 spd transmission combo

    I went over 5K miles before mine said the DEF was getting low. It still had about 25% remaining. 2.5 gallon container is about $12

    Dmax for me. Diesel is cheaper than gas in my area. I'd still vote Dmax if it wasn't.

    The interior on my 23 Yukon Denali is "decent" but not $85K nice. Love the Diesel/10spd combo.
