Just curious, how long do you guys think it would take a shop to replace the headlight? I ask b/c I inspected the headlight and it doesn't appear they replaced the headlight. I'm thinking now maybe a fuse blew and they just replaced it and said they replaced the headlight. Or maybe a wire was loose?
Lol. Yeah seemed kinda steep but I can't be driving around at night with one headlight especially if I've had a drink or two. Not that I would drive drunk :o) This thread makes me want to listen to the One Headlight son.
Hey Nate, thanks for the link. That seems like a PITA. I think I'm just going to take it to the mechanic. I was hoping to save a few bucks by doing it myself.
Hey all, it's been a while since I've posted on here. Just got a quick question. My driver's side headlight is out. I popped the hood and tried to plan how I would dissemble the headlight but it appears to be a lot harder than I thought it would be. I've also had issues with moisture getting...
I agree. Diehard or Deka probably your best value. Sears runs specials on the diehard all the time. You can get them on sale around $170 for a group 34.
Where does the cable plug in? The installer didn't plug the cable in and I thought it was on the rear of the headunit. If that's the case, do I have to take everything apart just to plug the cable in? It sounds like it'll be easier if I just get a gps. Thx Nate. I had a feeling you'd have an...
Does anyone know if the Pioneer 8400bh is compatible with the iPhone 5? If I remember correctly, the headunit will sync to the iPhone 4 for gps. I was considering buying a gps but I plan to buy an iPhone 5 as soon as I can get my hands on one. If I could just use the iPhone 5 for the maps thru...
I'd say the throttle response is better and sounds much better. I think it definitely has a little more power too. But my gas mileage didn't improve at all. I would do it again if I had the choice. It's a pretty cheap mod and easy to install.

Btw, most people like the OEM look and use wire loom. I personally like how the zero gauge looks especially since it cost me $4/ft so I have it displayed. You can do a similar setup with wire loom if you want it looking factory more than aftermarket like mine is. But people seem to like it. I...
All you need is a battery hold down. It cost $5 shipped on eBay. Then go to your local hardware store and find a lug that will fit. That's it. Easy enough and battery doesn't move at all.

You can get with a box builder on one of the car audio websites and buy a set of plans for maybe $30 and build it yourself. Good decision on the 0 gauge. I'm not a fan of cca but its better than 4 gauge. I believe 4 gauge has a max current of 150 amps and 250 for the 0 gauge cca so it should be...
There is a good write up by Modded on how to do the Big 3. It will show you step by step. I believe its in the tech section for 2007 and newer trucks. But if you are going to take the time to do it, I would do it in 0 gauge. No sense in wasting money on the 4 gauge. I doubt you'll need a new...
YouTube and WWW.bcae1.com. I think that's the website. If its incorrect let me know and I will track down the right one for you.
