Black Bear Performance Tune Event Chicago, IL; October 26-28, 2018

Anyone know the approximate area in Chicago? Also, is the pricing the same for an add-on vehicle to an existing BBP AutoCal? Trying to gauge doing this versus sending log files, like with my previous Tahoe.

At the point of getting rid of our 2016 Denali

Magnetic Ride Control is RPO code "Z95". If that code is present on the RPO sticker in the glove box, then the vehicle is equipped with Mag Ride. Most salesmen will send you a pic of the codes if you ask via email.

Lifetime Fuel Economy - 6.2 liter engine

I went from a 2007 Tahoe with the 5.3L and 4spd trans to a 2011 Denali with 6.2L and 6spd trans. Fuel economy is pretty similar between the two. Power difference is very noticable. 2007 had a Blackbear tune...which I haven't had time to mess with on the 2011.

Lifetime Fuel Economy - 6.2 liter engine

Up until the last two tanks, it has always been 93 octane. I have recently started experimenting to see how it performs on 89 octane.

Lifetime Fuel Economy - 6.2 liter engine

We usually only average 15mpg on our 2011 6.2L Denali. Probably 75% city driving and 25% Highway at 80-85 MPH.

    Interesting Suburban

:lol::lol::lol::lol: Ok, Grandpa, no need to get your panties in a bunch. Want me to get off of your lawn, too? :manos: As I already said, my experiences differ greatly from yours and I posted multiple sources that support my opinion, including a statement from a source in the insurance...

    Interesting Suburban

Worthwhile to note (given the audience here) that they stated that the Chevy Suburban is 84% less likely to get a ticket than the average.

    Interesting Suburban

That same study was linked in the Jalopnik article. Sample-size was relatively small, though. Came from here: http://blog.cjponyparts.com/2014/07/most-and-least-ticketed-types-makes-and-colors-cars/

    Interesting Suburban

TECHNICALLY.... LIDAR is aimed, from a distance, at a reflective surface (typically a license plate). RADAR is typically fixed-mounted with a broad beam. And the Red car thing is a myth. https://www.edmunds.com/car-safety/traffic-ticket-urban-legends.html...

    Interesting Suburban

People really still believe that? I have had more tickets in my silver Sunfire winter-beater than in my 400HP red GTO. The RADAR/LIDAR doesn't care what color your car is.

Using car seats in the second row

The problem is that car seats with bases only last until the kids are ~ 1 year old. NHTSA now recommends up to 3-4 years of rear facing. That requires a large, convertible car seat. http://www.nhtsa.gov/DOT/NHTSA/Traffic%20Injury%20Control/Articles/Associated%20Files/4StepsFlyer.pdf

Using car seats in the second row

With two full-size rear facing car seats, the only way you are getting to the third row is through the rear hatch...well, I suppose someone small enough could crawl. :) It is difficult to access the third row with two forward facing seats in captain chairs. I usually end up moving the front...

'07 GMC Yukon XL Denali AIrbag Erroe Code - B0084-39

I would recommend sealing the ends up really well with silicon. I think that was the biggest issue with mine.

    Smoke Tail Lights

Yep. Unfortunately it only worked for a year or so. Pretty disappointed in Plasmaglow.
