Recently I noticed one of my DRL's had burned out. Having installed the previous set of DRL's on my truck, I knew exactly what a PITA they are to replace. So, in the hopes of never having to replace these darned bulbs again, I researched LED bulbs for DRL's and found a set that is nearly...
Wow, nicely done! I like how you blacked out all the chrome trim around the windows & CM'd the front grill, looks so much better than OEM & makes me question why GM puts SO MUCH darn chrome on these rigs.
Wow Kenne, your truck looks insanely good, congrats. I've often wondered why GM doesn't offer painted grills & chrome delete as add on's from factory. Seems to me a lot of people would spend the extra $.
Quick question folks. I'm running a BB tune on my 07 hoe and I'm wondering if I can still use E85 on my rig? It IS a flexfuel truck. Also, can I use any fuel with ethano? I'm currently in the Mid-West and I'm finding a lot of gas stations offering 10% ethanol gas.
Many thanks.
Sorry man I don't have any pics of only the 2" rear kit installed. But I will tell you that my kit is static at 2" and cannot be adjusted (I'm non autoride) as tony's autoride kit is. With that said the cali lean was not due to the leveling kit itself but was due to the shape of the rear...
To the folks who are interested, and to give you an idea of the end result, here's a pic of my rig with Tony's 2 inch leveling kit. I did however lower the front 1.5 inches as I felt the truck had a bit of Cali lean with only the 2 inch leveling kit being installed.
Noticed some detonation/pinging the past few weeks... winter blend gas probably didn't help. On a hunch decided to remove and clean the MAF... worked like a charm & detonation is gone. Throttle response also seems better & idle is smoooooth.
Yeah, maxing out at 91 octane blows. I sometimes add a bottle of Lucas octane boost for those "special" fill ups. Those of you gents who have easy access to 100+ octane are lucky indeed. Now stop rubbing it in. :Nonono:
Paid $3.49 per gallon of premium during yesterday's fill up. Surely it's cheaper in other parts of the country, but for Los Angeles, that is a WIN. Let's see how long these lower prices stick around.
Randomly came across what used to be a Yukon XL. The damage gave me chills. Don't know any details about how it happened or the condition of occupant(s). Definitely looks like the jaws of life were used. Hope they survived.
I've got about 10k miles on my Hankook Dynapro ATM's with no issues, they ride great and have a great looking tread pattern. Stuck with my stock LTZ 20's and stock tire size. Pics are in my album.
Been good Lee. Life has gotten busy these months so I'm not on here as often but DO enjoy surfing through on occasion. Truck looks good man, vast improvement from stock height Imho.
