I have had tail light bulbs go bad and when they did the turn signal indicator on the dash would light up on that side. Since I changed the flasher that does not happen.
My flasher went bad in my 99 Yukon and I bought one from Autozone.
It works but now if I have a taillight go out the indicator light does not come on.
I presume that the cheapo dose not have that safety warning that the factory one does not have?
Well this came to a head the other day when it quit running again but refused to start.
My buddy came to help and when I turned the switch on he could hear the pump so we pretty much ruled out anything in the fuel system and since the only other thing that was mentioned was the crank trigger...
All this has been this summer. The TCC going through the brake switch is interesting in that the cruise control sometimes does not work. As far as the TPS it sometimes does not want to start (no pedal depression) and dies with pedal depression. Who generally has an advanced scan tool?
