Also, to answer the question above, no the codes were not there until after the battery died and I had to get it jumpstarted.

I do live in Eugene Oregon and this area has had a bad rat problem recently. I sure hope this isn’t the issue. Chasing down an electrical problem like this sounds like a nightmare.

That’s really good advice. Thank you. It’s a bit rough being away from home now and worrying about it. I’ll dive into it as soon as I get home.

I was also wondering if it could be something electrical due to the dead battery and then the jump start. I’m hoping it’s not a fried ecu or whatever controls the transmission. I’m not sure how I would check that.

I did drive it after the jump and it drove just fine but Only around my neighborhood. Got it to maybe 35mph tops and drove it for about 20 minutes. I haven’t yet check the transmission fluid. I will do that next once I get home.

First off, I know it can be difficult to diagnose the issue online with just the codes. However I’m hoping to get some feedback on what to check. Now for the issue:
So my Tahoe was sitting for about a month due to a bad back injury I had. I finally got a chance to go and start it and it needed...
I also still like the look of the second picture but I prefer overall the hd front end. I traded the cowl hood for the hd hood and both of us are happy with the trade.

I like that a lot. I think I might be getting too old for the 22's. I feel like I would enjoy the ride with 20's. I have a set of 17's with studded tires for the winter and they have been making me miss the taller sidewall's....lol

lol... It would be awesome to produce a few. Maybe at some point I will get some time to weld a few together and sell them.

So, I didn't take any progress pictures during the build except for the one posted below. I am terrible with keeping up on taking pictures when I'm working on a project....
Any how, so it was a very long process to get the bumper the way I wanted and it would be kind of hard to explain in to...
Also if you are interested and when I have a few minutes, I can give you guys a brief rundown on the making of the bumper.

Those grille inserts were also home made. I took the grille apart and added some expanded metal to mount behind the grille.

It's actually a bumper a buddy and me fabbed up at a shop we worked at. It has the JW LED 7" lights mounted in the bumper. The lights in the bumper are wired up to run the low beam as fogs and the high beams come on with my factory high beams. They are nice and bright.

So it's been awhile since my last update. Here is my Tahoe with the HD front and custom bumper installed. The bumper still needs some adjustments and aligning. The last picture is the different stages from the day I bought it with all the chrome and now with the HD front end. I'm contemplating a...
