What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I will post a picture of the instructions I have either tomorrow or this weekend so we can compare notes :) The one thing I remember my instructions saying was to not add a ground to frame. I will definitely snap pics of my instructions for you to see.

    Supercharging

Thank you for the reply, I definitely have more thinking to do. The noise is something I kinda want to keep at a minimum, plus the air intake still appears to be right over the header for a procharger

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

It runs through the RVC sensor then to the negative side. It's how the instructions told me to do it. I still kind of find it odd..

    Mikeyss Build Thread

It's been running awesome!! Now that my transmission has been built and has learned my driving habits, it's a beast! How have you been?

    Supercharging

I have been saving for a procharger for my cammed 6.2, but have been on the fence about getting a roots style. What made you dislike the procharger? My method of thinking is that my 6.2 already makes a lot of power off idle, which is why the procharger appeals to me. I live in the city and...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Not today, but last weekend I installed my Mechman 250 amp alternator and upgraded the wiring. More pics are on my under construction page, but here's a few:

    Mikeyss Build Thread

I had to replace my alternator again, this time I got a Mechman 250 amp. This should keep my dual batteries happier now. At idle, even with my dual 700W cooling fans running on hi, the gauge stays at 14V. While I was tinkering, I put some ensolite under the engine cover to quiet down the...

    Front differential differences

I took screen shots of both and maybe they are the same? The 1st image is an 07 and up

    Front differential differences

One of the big differences between an 06 and 07 was switching from torsion bars to struts up front. I *believe* the front diff mounts may be a little different, but I could be wrong.

2007 Yukon. Lost 1st and reverse gears in transmission. Replacement options?

What am I missing here, there has never been a 6.2 4 speed combo. All 6.2's were mated to the 6 speed 6L80 in the SUV/Trucks.

    2025 Yukon refresh

I think it's time for GM to upgrade the 5.3 and the 6.2. The power numbers have been the same since 2015. I hate to bring it up, but the base 'hurricane' twin turbo I6 from the other guys makes more power than our beloved 6.2

    2025 Yukon refresh

    Omg that screen looks hideous!!

    Z71 ventilated seats

The other difference is that there are no Tahoe's, including the high country, that can have Laminated front door glass. I know I've mentioned this in other threads, but this is a BIG deal when it comes to a quieter interior. ONLY GMC's from AT4 and up, and Cadillac have this feature. I get a...

Just curious and I don't know why, lol, but why are you in M4? P.S., you made me look ;)

    2009 Yukon Denali 6.2 L9H Engine Replacement

It almost sounds like a valve spring broke, which would cause a misfire if the valve isn't opening. I hope it isn't anything too major.

    2010 DENALI 6.2 Motor "Seized"

There are more cost effective versions here too that look good. But there are also more flimsy versions that use rubber tubing and look like leaks waiting to happen

    2010 DENALI 6.2 Motor "Seized"

My 09 had the exact failure you have there, and it's even in the same piston location. I still can't explain why it happened, but I went with TSP performance heads and a 4 corner steam kit instead of going back to stock.

    Next Step for Rough Ride?

When I bought the stock replacements from rockauto, they sent a new relay that instructs you to replace the old one. The relearn procedure, you need a tech2 and there is options in the ALC for module relearn. I have relearned my system twice, once after replacing the old shocks, and once after...

    new 2009 Tahoe LTZ owner

Maybe, but it's a tight squeeze back there. You have to remove the nut on the stud in the back, and remove the hose first. But I'm not sure if there is space enough to wiggle it out.

    What can be done?

I really hope you're joking.... But if not, this is EXTREMELY BAD advice. You can and would be charged for vehicle theft. The OP definitely has been dealt a sh*tty situation, but you can't go holding dealer vehicles hostage.

    Next Step for Rough Ride?

Just thinking out loud, but don't you have to do a relearn for the suspension module. I have an 09 (I know this is the K2 platform we are talking about here) but when I replaced my Z55 components, I had to do a relearn as well as replace a resistor under the hood

    What Would You Do?

This kind of depends on your budget. The Denali would make a nice ride, but there are other expensive fixes that you could run in to, mainly the suspension. But..... A 6.2 in your 78 K10 would be a very cool project. My 6.2 decided to eat a valve seat a few years back, and I spent over 8K...

    new 2009 Tahoe LTZ owner

When I replaced my engine almost 3 years ago, I removed that plastic shield and have had no issues. I recently also had the P0521 code and was able to easily remove the oil pressure sensor without that plastic shield in the way. The only thing you should keep on back there is the metal bracket...

2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Crew Cab AWD- QUESTION

Oh yeah, you're right. The 08 Sierra Denali would be a L92 which has VVT but not E85 capable. It also doesn't have the dreaded AFM system, thankfully.
