    The CLD has input also so you can play from the headunit to the headrests. I ran them independent of my headunit to create a dual zone system...the kids could watch movies in the back while I listened to music in front. You are correct sir.

    02 sub v 03 sub location

    I think the 02 box will bolt right in. You'll have to cut out the speaker panel, unless you buy a panel that already has the holes in it to cover the sub. I dont think an 8inch sub will cut it for you tho, coming from 2 12s.

    Dont need to disable anything. Just install the aftermarket radio using the correct harness for your truck.

    A decent 10inch sub with good power will go well with the stock system. I'm running a Polk MM wired to 2ohms with 500watt Alpine amp. Hits pretty hard inside the truck but I wont be heard from down the street.

    I'll check today and see if I have one with the other manuals today. I dont think you can change the steering wheels controls with the stock stereo. You can change their setup if you go with an after market radio. found this manual online

    Have you checked the ground connections on your amps? They should be connected to bare metal on the chassis.
