Rear USBs in Sliding Console not working

it was really simple. Remove the rear cupped holder “rubber” and there are a couple of screws (or maybe just 1, I forget now), remove those and use a plastic trim tool to pop the back plastic “frame” of the console to reach the back of the modules, two screws and it’s off.

Rear USBs in Sliding Console not working

Connections ended up being fine. I replaced the module and both the HDMI and USB ports started working again, so bad module.

Rear USBs in Sliding Console not working

The two USB-C ports on the rear of the sliding console stopped working. Everything else on the console seems to be working. I’ve checked all three fuses I can find that have the USB label. Production update?

we basically got “invoice” price, which seemed to be $3 or $4k less than what I was building for on the GMC Yukon website, plus an additional $500 from the dealer. So no, not much room, at least I never have with my dealer

    Production update?

Yeah, it’s always a thought that crosses my mind, but it’s never been a problem for us. On top of how damn long they’ve been working on these next-gens, I’m pretty optimistic we’ll be happy.

    Production update?

Weird, we set an appt with our (very small) local GMC dealership. Custom built and ordered ‘21 Yukon XL Denali. Every package and option they had, including the sliding center console (which is “late availability), so it may be a long time before we actually see this thing, but it’s in GMs system.

Another use for ambient temp sensor?

I bought an '03 Z71 Burb for real cheap. The only use for it is hauling tailgate gear to and from campus 6 or 7 weekends out of the year. When I picked it up the temp on the rearview mirror was showing OC so I ordered a new sensor and went to replace it last night. When I pulled the grill and...
