After revaluating my finances, its probably a good idea to pay my rent before I purchase rims. I'll check back to see if you still have them next week when I get paid again.
Damn that thing is clean for being a Michigan truck.. musta been stored during winters haha. Looks like mine except mine has 204k and rusting and needs a paint job bad. Nice find!
Correct me if I'm mistaken, but aren't the only 4 doors with fender flares the z71 models? Other than that, you might have to go aftermarket which are $$$.
Nice name by the way, where in MI are you from?
The codes are given in a number/letter ratio. For example: GT4 stands for a trucks gear ratio.. this specific code means the truck has 3.73 gears. Yours may be different. These codes give every option your truck came with from the factory. I.E. trim level, packages, everything from leather...
When I redo the body on mine, I have thought about line-xing the rockers and fender flares (when I get them). Then repainting the rest of the truck the original victory red color. My buddy from college had this set up on his OBS Silvy and I thought it looked awesome. Definetley wouldn't do the...
Haha it's all good. The Sharks won't get past the Canucks. I predict the Canucks to take the cup this year as I have no faith in the teams in the eastern conference.. we ll at least Boston and Tampa, they have nothing on either Vancouver or San Jose.
I wonder if that hood would fit on a 08...
Listen to this man, he is the guru of OBS lifted Tahoe's.
I would go with 35's as you will need to trim with 37's. Also don't forget about regearing the front and rear differentials to push the bigger and heavier tires
Those look like 285/75/16 to me...
I just can't see it plausable to run 35's and not rub at all on a factory suspension. Might want to go double check your tire size son...
35" you should have at least 4.56 gears. Anything bigger should be 4.88 or even 5.13. You could probably get by on 4.10s for 35's but you will run the risk of putting extra strain on your engine and tranny.
Not quite 7200 lbs.. this was probably around 6500 lbs and my buddies and I just went camping at a local state park about 15 miles away so I didn't get much above 50 mph. Sagged the ass end quite a bit and I definetly felt it back there.. anything more or longer distance probably would have...
I would go with the SAS as well right from the beginning.. as in the first thing i do. A 14 full float is a good idea with the extra strength. 5.13s are good gears to put under it. Ranch Hand makes heavy ass duty front and rear bumpers for this year. Shit this build sounds fun as hell but be...
$11k is a pretty sweet offer and it might seem good now but if you're attached to it like you seem to be you will be kicking yourself in the ass later on down the road because you sold it. I personally would have taken the 11k in a heartbeat tho.. I'd say 11k is an excellent offer on the high...
