    Fix for Broken escalade taillamp

    Anyone remove the clear escalade taillight cover to have it replaced/repaired? Ebay has a rear taillight with cracked/broken cover that works for 300, my current one is faulty electrical but good clear cover, has anyone removed the clear cover? anyone repairing the electricals?

    Replaced the filter put 7 quarts of new oil in and the noise is 1/4 of what it was. I’m going to drop the pan again after two 300 miles and replace the oil one more time. I think that will get all the dead oil all of the torque converter then.

    Dropped the pan. - oil has a strong burnt smell to it. - small amount metal flit around the magnet I’ll replace the filter and refill with new tx oil and see if there’s an improvement. Damn you GM for making me drop the exhaust to drop the pan.

    Update 12/28 GM tech won’t work on it unless I replace the magnaflow with the original muffler. I saved them and put it on again. I informed them that I’ve had the magnaflow on for 35,000 miles with no CEL codes and their heavy engine tech has the same exhaust with no problems. Stay tuned!
