    The cross rails are listed as an accessory on GM Parts Direct. The build sheet on my Avalanche says it has Package V54 - LUGGAGE RACK - SIDE RAILS , it says nothing about cross rails on the build sheet.

    FYI, when I traded in my 07 Tahoe LTZ for my 10 Avalanche I kept the cross rails from the Tahoe. Guess what, they are the same. Fit perfect. Part #'s were different from GM but they fit perfect. So if you are wanting to get these and find a set from a Tahoe they work just fine.

    Traded my 07 Tahoe in Saturday on a 2010 Av LTZ. Love this thing. The 6 speed is very smooth. Not sure on the gas mileage yet but that really doesn't concern me. I'm sure it's just as bad as the Tahoe

    Major issues 2007 Tahoe

    My 07 was leaking water in the rear and the head liner was getting wet. There is a wiring harness that connects from the rear gate to the roof and it has a rubber boot. My rubber boot was not seated properly and was causing this. I also put some silicone around it and it has been fine ever...

    I put the painted ones on my 07 LTZ, I think they look great. I have yet to see another Tahoe with the painted one's.

    Trailer Lights Issue

    It's obviously a wiring issue on the trailer and not the adapter. If it works on one trailer it should work on the other. A simple voltage tester that has a light will help you troubleshoot this issue.

    Dealer replaced rear transfer case seal, seems to be fixed. I'm sure they damaged it when they greased the slip yoke.

    Dealer called, said they couldn't find the leak. I told them to look harder because it's on the cross member and my garage floor. I really think it's the grease they used on the slip yoke, because it's really thick and gooey. Not something I would expect to find in a transfer case.

    Appears so ---------- Post added at 10:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:13 AM ---------- Yes, it appears to be coming directly out of the rear of the transfer case where the rear drive shaft goes in. There is a cross member right under it and it's leaking onto the cross member.

    They did not do the PCV or the Valve cover. They basically topped off the oil, which they charged me for, and said keep an eye on it. Pretty lame if you ask me. Why not be pro active and fix the damn thing. I have a Service Request open with GM Customer Service. They actually called back today...
