After I installed the intake on the Tahoe I didnt like how the factory "resonator tube" under the engine cover left a gapping hole. It just looked odd and unfinished. So I decided to do something about it. I should have taken more in process photos before it was primed but you get the idea...
Looks good but IMHO i would get a small "bowtie" decal for the center cap. It breaks it up and right now they look like repro's.

Im going to either have it hydro dipped or paint it. had good luck with a fine metallic silver basecoat and a scuff pad to give a brushed nickel appearance.
Well since it the wifes daily kid hauler i cant do much with the drivetrain. I want to add a MBRP catback and possibly a tune but that will probably be it. I want to ditch the woodgrain inside soon. I am trying to talk her into a 2/3 drop......with no luck so far

kicking myself repeatedly. I didnt realize that the racks would swap at the time and i had no original parts to swap back on. I traded parts with a totaled Esky. I have another rack being delivered monday. has slight damage but for 100 bucks complete I cant argue. She wants to black it out...
Haven't posted in a while, but the swapped the wifes grocery getter to something newer. Had a 2001 LT the hit 250k miles so we traded it for a 2009 2LT. Had it 3 weeks and the modding has already begun. So far all mods have to be run by the wifey but she has good taste. Still to do....Esky...
