Trunk/Liftgate not working
Been a while since I've posted anything, I guess that means I haven't had any issues in a while. For some reason or another the trunk/liftgate (manual, not power) won't open, nor will the back glass. Not sure if this is an electrical issue or just the latch assembly going bad. Anyone else had... -

Error codes help
My check engine light came on the other day and I got these codes: Evaporative Vent control circuit P0446, Left wheel speed sensor C0035. Does anyone know what these codes mean and how easy of a fix they might be? 07 Tahoe LS SSV package.- Oak51

Won't start...
I can't get my OBS to start...I initially thought it was the battery and found out that my alternator was bad. I've changed the alternator and replaced the battery and I still can't get it to start. Rough estimate cost of lowering
Can anyone tell me what the cost of lowering my 2 door OBS would be. I'm thinking of maybe lowering it just enough so that you can't see the frame from the side...i guess that's about 2"...- Oak51

Heating and AC Problems
For some reason or another, the heat and AC in my 97 tahoe are only blowing through the defrost setting no matter what setting that I have it on. My question is is it just a problem with the switch, or is there a bigger issue and is it something that I can fix myself. Any help is appreciated... -

Turn signal issues
My rear right turn signal went out a few days ago, and I figured that it was just the bulb so I replaced it. It worked just fine for all of about three miles and then it went out again. A/C repair
I took my OBS to a local shop to have my a/c serviced and I ended up finding out that my compressor was leaking. The guy at the shop said that it would be 1200 to fix it. My question is does anyone know how difficult it would be for me to replace the compressor and what I would need to do it...- Oak51

New to the forum, and just got a '97 2 Dr Tahoe about a month ago. I'm looking for the smoked (or black) head light covers. Does anyone know if they make them as one piece that covers the head lights and the corners, or do I have to buy two separate covers, and if so who makes them and where...
