Just a couple of situations I can think of...
Backing a camper up a slight grade on a slippery surface.
Pulling a boat up an algae coated boat ramp.
Pulling a utility trailer out of a wet back yard.
Just some of my experiences...
The cost of the 4wd option is minimal considering the cost of...
I oil all my vehicles. I use a low press high volume sprayer and spray 5W20 on eveything. After years of trial and error 5W20 works the best. I also try to keep dirt out of any areas where it can get trapped and hold moisture and salt residue. Been doing this for over 20 years and my stuff...
I took it into my own hands. I ordered a heating element and took the seat out and installed it myself. The dealer was FOS. I had a faulty element. Works normally now. Very much the same as my 2007. Based on that if you can tell if they are working they are not.
It was an easy project...
I treat my Yukon myself. Lots of salt on Michigan roads. I spray 5W20 motor oil everywhere I can get to on the underside, then drill all the doors and panels to spray oil into them. The wholes are then plugged with body plugs. Been doing all my cars for years that way. Still get surface...
My tuner deletes it until over 50mph. Works great for me. No AFM artound town but on the highway on level terrain and no head wind I still get great mpg...
Not sure this is the same thing but both my 15 Denali and 07 Burb would drive you crazy if you had both back seat windows down without having the front seat window down. Other than that I have never noticed any issues...
I have been a AAA insurance agent for about 25 years...
Call AAA for a quote and feel free to ask for advice. Experience agents will tell you when they know another insurance company may fit your situation better than something they can offer. That goes for all ethical experienced agents. We...
Mad a huge mistake a few years back leaving my Burb in 4WD on the dry highway for many miles. Burned the boots right off the cv joints. Moved it back into 2WD and limped at around 50mph another 200 miles home. They never came apart. Made a lot of noise, but no other issues. I say drive her...
For what its worth, my 2015 Yukon Denali had the most sloppy shift I have ever driven until I added a tuner:
Hypertech Max Energy Programmer - 2000....
I don't notice and engine performance improvements but it allows you to program the transmission shifting as well. Best upgrade on my Yukon yet.
I'm liking the organizer too. Can you tell me what combination lock box you are using. I have a CCW and would love a lock box in the Yukon. Thanks, Eric
I wonder if the brake upgrade would increase towing capacity? Seems like the 6.2 has plenty of HP, it must be the ability to stop the load that keep our towing limit so low??
I added a HyperTech tuner that eliminated AFM below 50mph and gave me a half dozen option on trans shift points and firmness. The shift adjustment was a huge plus for me and I don't see anything as far as mileage loss.
