check the connection to the rear audio controls. In fact, if the rear controls are turned on, it shuts power to the rear speakers. Also there is a plug behind the panel that goes behing the parking brake pedal. It has the connections to the rear speakers also.
As mentioned you can't take everything out. Doing this will trap air in the lines and the fluid will find the path of least resistance and flow right back into the trans bypassing the cooler. Also - you need to take note of where the half moon shape is on top of the cover. It is imperative...
It's the Navigation touch screen radio. When idling and you turn off audio pilot the radio goes lower; it has no affect with engine off and ignition in ACC mode. When driving you can notice volume going lower when coming to a stop. On the freeway shutting audio pilot off; the radio goes way...
I know this thread is old but yes it can. The 97 and 2001 are the same size and plug pin out. It was 2003+ that went to data bus. You may have to change the jumper wire harness from the tape player to the CD player in order to get it to work, but there is a very good chance they will be the...
ah okay. I know it has been said that reprogramming an amp is tricky b/c sometimes they just die after a while. The one I bought came from and Escalade Platinum long wheel base. My Yukon is the the short wheel base ( non xl) But I don't think it will make a huge difference - correct? As...
were the rear D pillar speakers not turned on because the amp was not set up for a truck with D pillar tweeters? I still have not gotten around to rewiring mine, but my amp cam out of a 2005 Escalade platinum.
With your BOSE radio and the noise compensation turned on will it remember your volume setting? For example - in my truck when I shut it off the volume lowers automatically as I'm no longer getting road or engine noise that the audio pilot has to compensate for. If I'm listening to the radio...
yup did mine like 10 years ago. One word of caution if your truck sits outside the chrome ring starts to crack around the edges. Mine is in the garage all the time and is now starting to show the symptoms. I bought mine new.
any RDS radio will work. Just needs a vin unlock and if it did not come out of a BOSE truck it will need to be programed for BOSE; not a big deal. Just make sure you don't get one from a LUX Y91 set up as those are completely different. I have a BOSE single CD player that IO can sell you for...
My 04 Sierra and My brother in laws 03 Silverado had many functions on the DIC along with a digital PRNDL indicator. My 06 has the non digital PRNDL with red indicators under the selected gear. The DIC in the 06 has less features then the 04 and 03.
I really like my Yukon, but I think having a large hatch was a dumb idea. I like the way the S-10 Blazers had the tailgate or the way the K-5 and Broncos had the tailgate with roll-down window.
I put a set of p10 9005 LEDs in my projector headlights. I don't believe in blinding people with scattered light. Since my headlights are projectors I though I'd give it a try. What do you think? Is the cut off pretty good? What about the bright spots in the middle? These are on my 06...
