I do a lot of manual shifting too.
It could also just be the pads & rotors. I've been using the Raybestos Element3 stuff. I feel like it stops really well, and the rotors don't rust up here with the long salty winters.
That being said, I measured my calipers the other day, and they were well...
I would say not particularly hard. I also work from home and do t drive a ton.
I think the main reason would be that there is no flat land in my region. Everything is a hill... big, small, steep, not steep.
Ordered pads & rotors for front/rear from Rock Auto. I ordered the exact same parts as I did two years ago, and they were about $70 more expensive this time around.
Just subbed to your channel. (I used to love watching the AT teardowns on the Precision Transmission channel before they got a billion subs then went private $$$).
Do you do any work on the 6L80s?
Went for a drive up to Acadia National Park. I was able to cash in my government service for a free lifetime vehicle pass, so that was cool.
Rig did fine; no dramas on the drive to/from the park and around Bar Harbor. Stopped at two breweries on the way up, and five in the ride home, but we...
I think cleaning the MAF (with MAF cleaner) will do much more than wiping down the throttle body.
How dirty can the throttle even get? A layer of grime isn't going to really effect anything, right?
A dirty MAF sensor absolutely will affect MPGs.
Wasnt' the HD (2500/3500) radiator the same layout as the 1500, but had a thicker core? Someone mentioned, somewhere, that it had the same oil and trans cooler fittings.

Is it possible to do a shipping calculator from Livermore, CA (the first wine club I joined... got so sloshed up at El Sol; good times) to New Hampshire?
Pull the pressure sender and clean that little orifice out. The smallest particle of gunk can get in there and mess up the readings.
Then I'd remove the oil filter, and blow compressed air or brake cleaner down the pressure sender threaded hole. It goes straight down to the filter, so...
I'd personally buy Timken. They have one of their manufacturing facilities 30 minutes from me. My neighbor used to work for them.
They did a lot of military contracts there, and had a Blackhawk parked out front for a while.
Annual intake manifold bolt tightening sequence. I'm impressed by how many bolts out of the ten need to be torqued to spec. All were at the 1st pass of 44 in/lbs., but almost all were loose on the second 88in/lb. pass.
I also fixed the issue of my passenger side wiper fluid nozzle not spraying...
Mounted the el cheapo kayak racks that won't seem to die, and are headed out for the first ride of the season. Hope the river is fast because after last night's scotch(s) and beer(s) I don't feel that athletic.
Great thread....
I have a BMW battery that's sat in the trunk all winter and I'll probably need a good way to clean/charge it up over the regular charger I have.

This is the battery I recently bought...
