All mirrors pop off, for the most part. If these are the same as the fords and older chevy vehicles I have done then it would be to push the mirrors as far up as u can then place as many of your fat little fingers under the mirror on the bottom and steadily pull up. Don't take my word 100 % but...
Also we had an old tool box I installed a week ago laying around the shop so that is new as well. Just need to replace the weather strip and locks that I bought a few days ago. I already had the struts replaced the day I did the install. Just gotta find more time for the rest to be finished with...
Finally got my tools back and getting some time to get my tow mirrors installed. So far the driver side has 3 LED lights out for the turn signal on the mirror. Gotta see about getting a new glass to get them fixed. Not sure on the make of these mirrors but will do some digging later.
The...
I was at the shop thinking I should have removed those running boards they might have looked good on my sierra but o well I'm happy with this tuck as is for now. But after I have looked at the truck some more I think some smaller steps would looks better than bulky ones like those RBPs I'm going...
Yes but I'm still rolling the Z71 tahoe and will be working on both of them some here and there. Still not sure if I want to remove the grille guard or not on the Tahoe but the bull guard on the GMC will for sure be coming off soon. Not my cup of tea. Will also be debadging the GMC as well...
Guess I can use TapaTalk to upload pics.
This thing is nice and pretty low miles at 140k for an 08 model. I will be throwing my tow mirrors on here most likely and eventually work on a few other mods but nothing big anytime soon. Do need to find some steps for wife and kids.

Drove 2.5 hours this morning to pick up my Tahoe then drove 2.5 hours back. Then went strait to the dealer I was working with and traded the Tahoe in for this bad boy. Loaded Sierra Z71 All Terrain Edition w/ a 5.3L. It was kind of sad driving off today knowing all the work I put into my Tahoe...
Thanks man. So far had no real issues just gotta get back with the dealer on a new key fob I can't get the second one to relearn. Also the factory nav always makes weird noises like a cd is in it but nothing in there. Anyone have a clue what that might be?
Forgot to mention that the grille guard will be going on mine most likely, not sure if I will paint to match or not since I may be selling or move it over at all but the wife doesn't like it, "man shit" again. At least she doesn't want to make it pink on black, so I can deal with it.
Wife fell in love with mine other than the "man shit" as she calls it. Plus we got rid of her Jeep Compass so we were looking to give her my Tahoe or sell and get a different one. Still may sell mine but this happened yesterday.

Everything she was looking for and the few...
@DaRosa218 thanks and that grille guard will be going on my Tahoe. Thinking about paint to match white, not sure yet though. Only thing appearances wise that will be done on the outside is tow mirrors but then idk having the power fold mirrors is nice.
Got tired of waiting for my Tahoe to get to Texas so I talked the wife into letting me get another one
09 Z71 124k miles what y'all think?
JK about it being mine. It's the wife's new daily. We r waiting for my Tahoe but she fell in love with mine after driving it this past couple...
BTW that roof top carrier is one of the bigger ones you can get. Its a 1800XL luggage carrier and is pretty legit if anyone is ever interested in getting them. Fit right onto my factory rails. I adjusted the feet for the carrier all the way back and the cross bars sit, front all the way forward...
You can't tell in this picture but I washed and then buffed out all the nastiness from this past winter and then took a drive out to the beach that evening.
I have three on both sides at this point. When I get more time I will cut all the brackets off flush to the bars and weld some new brackets up most likely 3 again. I saved the brackets from my factory bars and someone had some extras that they said they could ship me if I needed them. I will...
@HiHoeSilver its best if u have someone hold the brakes while u break it those nuts off. That is, if you have the extra person to do it. Using the rod, as long as they don't give and it digs into the ground with no movement then it works, but any kind of give will take power out of the turn.
@HiHoeSilver, negative it was just realllyyy tight. Not sure if the old nuts were locking nuts but the ones that came new with the new CVS were locking nuts. I cranked on them pretty good when I stalled them a few months ago. Plus that hub being as bad as it was might have made it a little...
