    2022 order cutoff to 2023 order-to-availability

Hoping some in-the-know folks have some answers - I think a lot of us are in the same boat. Hoping this thread can consolidate some of the questions/answers floating around. As I understand it after digging in different places (including this awesome forum): * Order cutoff for 22’s is end of...

    Yukon order update

So what can we expect in July if I were to order a 2023? I’m guessing with all the craziness going on nothing’s going to change - meaning, there will still be shortages, etc., so as soon as the 23’s are available to order there will STILL be things on constraint. The only difference is it’ll...

    Yukon order update

Congrats to you both - I have the exact same build but put the order in a bit later than you ... I think I'm going to have another Sad Trombone Constraint Day tomorrow. Given that the Denali Premium package is on constraint until at least April, I'm about ready to bail and just check back in...

Customer asked to pay in full before taking delivery

According to the article, this particular customer ended up not having to pay in full because the dealer magnanimously said they would make an exception for him, probably after the news channel approached the dealer. But I’ve heard of dealers requiring “non-refundable” deposits, so in a case...

Customer asked to pay in full before taking delivery

tldr; man put a $500 deposit on a Yukon, then 2 weeks before the stated delivery date he was asked to pay for the Yukon in full or lose it. Even if it *is* legal and a practice approved by GM, it just sounds so scummy...

'22 Denali shipped without Steering wheel lock and 4-way lumbar

Just spoke with my dealer and he said that from the list of things being credited on the current Build-a-Yukon webpage, the only item that would be retrofitted from that list is the park assist, so no lumbar, no steering wheel lock, no console, etc.

Service Instrument Cluster @634 Miles, 2022 Yukon XL Denali

You’ve hit the nail on the head. The Internet and over-the-air updates has been a major catalyst in lazy programming becoming rampant. Your gaming reference is 100% spot on (I used to work at a AAA publisher): you buy the game, pop in the disc, and what’s the first thing that happens...

Dealer removal of ordered/sold unit from their website?

It is probably dependent on the dealer. I found one dealer that had a vehicle that was my #2 choice and I asked them if it was sold and they said yes. That was almost 6 weeks ago. It’s still on the inventory website as “In Transit”. On the other hand, my local dealer had some vehicles show...

Service Instrument Cluster @634 Miles, 2022 Yukon XL Denali

If any good came out of the Max crashes it’s the hope that manufacturers like GM know they can’t screw around when it comes to software that deals with safety. That’s why any Super Duper Mega Awesome Cruise must be bullet-proof, or at least as it is now where it beeps at you if you fall asleep...

Service Instrument Cluster @634 Miles, 2022 Yukon XL Denali

I hate it. I’ve been around software development for a while now and like everything it has gone to a big steaming pile of crap. It used to be about writing quality, bullet-proof code, regardless of whether it was mission critical or not. Nowadays the thinking has changed completely: ”Is the...

2024 Yukon Refresh Spied (warning- it’s not that exciting of an article!)

Well, given all the teething problems the 21s had, that 18 month wait might be longer if you wait for a 25. :) I’m really curious to see what the 23s bring to the table - and honestly, if it’s just big fixes and functional RSE I’d be happy with that. Now that said - any existing owners of...

Whole GM constraint list as of 2/24

Yeah, I realize that - I guess I should’ve clarified that the “irked part” was that my sales guy on Monday said he was sure the order would go through but warned me that anything could happen on Constraint Day.

Whole GM constraint list as of 2/24

Thanks for this - majorly irked, tho. Dealer tried to put in my order today and said the Denali Premium package was on constraint but didn’t provide details. Looking through this it’s pretty much everything in the package - lol …

Yep, that’s one of the advantages. As @DenaliCountry noted the coat can last 3-5 years.

    Ceramic coat questions

Go to youtube and search for “ceramic coat” - lots of great resources. The biggest thing is to find a reputable detailer. Also, lots of misconceptions are dealt with, like, “If I get a ceramic coat I don’t need to wash my car, right?” or, “Does coating protect my car from rock damage?”...

What's The General Wait Time From Order To Arrival These Days?

Great points - my current experience pretty much is on par with all of this. I’m fortunate that my local dealer gets the most allocations in the area. Every month I’ll see a new slew of Yukons listed on the GMC inventory website heading to their dealership (usually sold, tho). That’s the...

Is there a particular flavor you guys prefer? I’m partial to butter or olive oil. Not a fan of coconut oil flavored snow.

2022 Yukon Denali ordered ($300 over invoice)

Very true. Just got off the phone with Robideaux - they are extremely up front, honest, and helpful. Bottom line: they are still offering $300 over invoice but they are looking at 10-12 months for any rigs under the current circumstances. If things change for the better it will speed things up.

2022 Yukon Denali ordered ($300 over invoice)

Wanted to get some thoughts from the forum on the subject of buying what’s available now to trade it in later (say, 6 months from now) while I wait for what I want. Special shout out to all the members here who’ve helped enlighten me and have provided so much insight on this forum. Here’s my...

2022 Yukon Denali ordered ($300 over invoice)

In another thread Aemycod said MSRP for his build was $85.7k and his price was $80.7k: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/price-gouging-everywhere.130146/page-7#post-1644774 About to call Robideaux but it sure doesn’t seem like they have allocation.

@jl449 any update on this? I was looking for the same package. Where are you at in the process?

Yukon Denali packages not being manufactured until mid to late March may be time to jump ship

Yeah, count me in that lot, too. If one magically shows up at a dealership I’m more than happy to be opportunistic about it, but I’m leaning towards waiting at this point. Still, my current DD is doing just fine so the Yukon is more of a “want” than a “need” at the moment. As for the 2023’s...
