This issue has been resolved. It turned out the misfire on 6 was caused by a bad injector.
This was also causing the noise from from the bottom of the transmission pan. No clue why. And I don't think anyone knows. $1400 later, we're back on the road.
This issue started yesterday while driving. Engine light, loss of traction control and forward collision system.
Pulled into park and have a very rough idle. First thought was lifter failure, which I had almost two years ago to the day. But this noise was coming from underneath the driver...
Hi everyone,
I've had my 2018 Yukon XL Denali for 2 and a half years. I bought it with 36k miles on it. Here's all I've had done to it:
-Rear AC condenser replacement
-Front wheel bearing replacement
-Both front upper ball joints
-Engine mount
-Leaking coolant coupling/hose
-Lifter failure...
Sorry to most likely rehash a sore subject. Has anyone successfully done the TSB 18-NA-355 on their 2015 8 speed transmission? I'm ready to do anything to get this truck to shift like it should. I'm at 90k miles so no warranty.
What would dealer charge to complete this?
Hi everyone,
The shiny (polished aluminum?) inserts on my 22" denali oem wheels has some staining from what i suppose is brake dust. Anyone have a good wheel cleaner they can recommend?
Thanks!
It's not too bad, took about an hour, would have been a lot less had I found all my tools first. There's a pretty decent video on youtube to get you started.
I have an intune i3, but I'm not sure if that will read BCM codes. Regarding corrosion on the coax, I didn't see a whole lot of what looked like damage under there. But, who knows.
I was able to replace the antenna. It was a tight fit but just enough to reach up under the headliner. You can see how corroded the old was.

Can I purchase the antenna myself? What is involved in removing and installing? I think somewhere I read the headliner has to come off. If I were to take it to a mechanic, any idea how many hours it would be?
Thanks,
Jason
Alright, so after driving this morning they flickered a few times in the first 30 seconds or so then stopped. It's almost like there's a warm up period or something. I also turned my ac on and off to allow the compressor to pull power and that didn't cause flickering. So, we'll see how the next...
Everything snapped in pretty snug. It’s not bumps causing it bc it happened while parked. I’ll have to troubleshoot some more today. I’m also going to contact HID Concept who I bought the lights through.

So driving tonight the lights look good but I noticed a flicker every so often. Not sure what that could mean. Both sides. Maybe alternator?

I did go with the philips. I will give my thoughts after I drive at night. So far, this morning at dawn they look great. Color is exactly what I was hoping for.
