Or so I thought! The attached pics are after a WEEK!
I installed the K&N catch can last Sunday. Granted we had some pretty significant cold weather here in Louisiana this past week, but still!
Just to follow up on this....
I installed the Z85 springs on Sunday. They are the same free height at the smooth ride springs so I stuck the 1" spacer back in. They are still just as smooth unloaded (to me), but I installed new rubbers too. They do not compress as much as the stock springs...
Over the weekend, I did the following per the instructions in the video. I had to have a helper to control the throttle though.
It cleaned up all the hesitation on mine. It used to act like it was falling on its face when NORMALLY accelerating from a stop. Now it's smooth.
This is what I'm running:

Per their website, it supports up to 2000 hp, but even if it doesn't, it WILL support up to 500 and that fits my bill and sounds great!
I bought through Rockauto in February. Great...
I wish I had seen this comprehensive write up BEFORE getting mine together!
It is possible to do the rear gear swap from 3.08 to 3.42 without the spacer, but then the axles are offset to the extent of the rotors touching the caliper mounts, especially on the passenger side. I wasn't being...
I picked up a full set on the book of faces marketplace, new in the unopened box for $300. The guy said the trans on his 19 went out before he could get them installed and they've been taking up space in his shop for a couple years. He traded the 19 for a Z71 which he drove to meet me.
If...
I found where the Z85 springs are associated with the NHT code. I'm thinking these will accomplish what I'm looking for except losing the spacer. As long as this damn thing doesn't look squatted when I'm towing, I'm happy.
I have searched and cannot find a comparison for reference. However, I have found some useless information. So, I'm chasing this rabbit down the hole and coming up with conflicting info.
I'm currently running stock (ZW7) springs w/ a 1" spacer, Bilstein 5100s all the way around w/ the front...
So I think I got mine resolved week before last. I was checking other ground connections and on a whim, thought I'd put a wrench on the battery terminals. The battery was brand new when I got the Tahoe 10 months ago, so I never gave it a second thought. However, it did look like the negative...
Did you ever find a fix for this?
My 2019 with 78k on it is doing something similiar. I've noticed that the headlights will dim when I activate the brake lights as well. If I'm stopped and turn the steering wheel, sometimes it will be harder than normal to turn and the headlights will dim. Two...
I can see that there is no resolution to this issue. I've even bought a NEW camera and replaced it, thinking it had to improve at least a little. Nope, not a bit. I've even tried to see if I can get into the old one to see if the focus can be adjusted. No luck with that either.
Anyway, my...
