    One thing I’ve always kept in the back of my mind is that 9 out of 10 people who have a bad experience will complain out loud. 1 out of 10 people will share how great their experience has been without being asked. So keep that in mind, yes the risk is there but it’s just simply luck of the draw IMO

    im fairly certain that the different brand just describe the part differently. Molded and curved seem to be the same shape. Its not like I see the same brand selling 2 hoses and 1 is listed as molded and the other is listed as curved.

    IF you went with the cheapy harness without all the modules and stuff. You just need to get 12v from the fuse box inside the cab on a circuit that is controlled via the key like HVAC for example Use a fuse tap like this...

    Based off my experience. I swapped a brake switch on an 08 and it worked without programming I do have a question though, any chance you’re running LEDs on the brake lights?

    Should have just had this done when I initially added the CarPlay to my 2015. I didn’t feel like spending anymore money on add ons

    I’m open to the idea of getting the bypass thing but to revisit my first question. Do you know if that ottobox thing will work on the front and rear screens? My kids are still too young to control it themselves. So I’d like to see what I’m doing up front to set them up for long rides.

    A/C stopped working suddenly - any help?

    One simple test you can do is tap the front of the compressor clutch with a hammer (while the AC switch is on) and see if the clutch engages. Mine was doing this last summer periodically and I would have never thought to try this.

    That’s what I’m doing. I have some rust at about eye Level on my rear quarter panel. They gave me a preliminary quote but I really won’t know how bad it is until they start stripping and cutting the metal. I’d rather spend the money on the hood and rust repair than the roof

    I was recently discussing this topic elsewhere. I only made time to get 2 quotes - CARSTAR which is a chain in my area verbally told me they just did a roof and hood about 3 weeks ago. $3300. Now that I think about it they never even sent me an email quote.. I wasn’t a fan of them anyway...
