They pretty much all have potential for engine problems. The fact that it has 70k miles is a good thing imo. But…maybe it already had an issue and was repaired ?
Depends. Will cause more rubbing inside like on knuckles and brakes etc…but usually keeps it outa the fenders and lines more than less backspacing would.
If it aint one thing its another
Those tires are most likely 275/50/22 if they were for a newer vehicle (ive never seen a 275/70/22)…which is basically a 33x11ish. If they were from an older gm they were 285/45/22

You have a 25 year old vehicle that you have owned and maintained (very well, it sounds like) since it was new with only 130k miles…run with it man. Its got another 25 years left in it.
You could spend 100 grand on a new fancy one and it could blow up within a few thousand miles lol.
Yeaaaaa…while many people certainly do mod them, i think a LARGE percentage of caddy buyers just purchase them, drive them for a little bit in stock form, then sell em for the new model.
Put those exact tires on my ex’s high country several years ago. As you have found, they fit fine in stock form, but i did add a 1.5” level to the front also just to level it up.
The leveling kit didnt change the ride at all.
She ended up putting another set of those same tires on again since...
