I'll bet you're at least smart enough not to think "miniscule" means "non-existent".
We have one of those members who is incapable of connecting two thought bubbles into a consistent philosophy.

This is a general GM history, and plan for the future. It's not short, but is, hopefully, worthwhile.
As is common for me, I couldn't find what I thought was the correct place for it, so please move it as needed...
I just read that instrument clusters are somehow electronically or digitally tied to a specific vehicle; so, won't work in another.
Any thoughts on this?

Those responses are perfectly logical. Maybe not helpful or soothing, but logical.
I'd think they're dictated by 'Legal', and by the common sense realization that an anonymous stranger shouldn't be advising you on personal and legal issues.

I've never even tried mine.
How far are they supposed to be able to move, full forward to full rearward?
How long is full forward to full rearward supposed to take?
Do they rise or sink anywhere along the path?

I'm more concerned about the wiring than the physical parts; although I've read that the panel itself is shaped slightly differently.
I've also thought about one of those 'A' pillar gauge mounts; although I don't really like them.
Anyway, thanks. I'm hoping your post will spark more.

There are probably better answers, but I have gone to a glass shop and had mirrors replaced.
I don't remember the price, but it was very cheap, and very quick.

This '07 Escalade is the first car or truck I've had, in 50 years, without gauges [oil press, temp, volts]. Any thoughts on swapping with Chev or GMC?
Thanks
joe
