I am pretty sure i put some PIDs into torque and was able to get spare pressure without any tech-2 changes. Would have to dig out my android and check.
Added some more boom booms. I converted to Lux Bose in my 2004 Hoe and last summer put a shallow 8 in a pre-03 factory box in the back so i had that and the oem. Wasn't real happy as the center console sub in luxury outperformed this thing.

and make sure that centerlink is oriented correctly with the tie rod droops headed toward the back of the truck.

Another symptom from when my centerlink was oriented incorrectly was inability to keep the thing straight on heavily crowned roads and a feeling of instability at highway speed. With all your parts replaced, make sure the centerlink is installed properly: tie rod droops angled toward the back...
I'm about to have to hack my daughter's 2014 Camaro up to do the same. Craptastic design by GM. If you run MAX A/C the actuator will apply constant pressure to the door to keep it closed tight and eventually the plastic snaps.
Here in Texas, you can't survive without MAX.
Personally, I'd keep saving and get the catted y-pipe AND a tune. I know, opinions and all. Had an open exhaust LS1 when I was 19 and it stunk so bad - that smell doesn't come out clothes easily. But, back then I did use O2 sims for the rears before I got it tuned.
