Should be able to just swap out the wiring harness for the headlights it should have the same plug that plugs into the main harness under/around the radiator
From my understanding you can just throw a lower 2” leveling kit under the strut and should be fine. They’re like 40-60$ on eBay and Amazon and is very quick and easy to install. You may need adjustable ride height sensor rods but might not but their cheap and easy to change also.
As for tires...
33s should be fine unless you get some serious offset like x12 or x14” wide wheels then you’ll have to bring it up to 3” or so and do some other stuff like differential drop and control arms to accommodate
Also that lower 2” leveling kit and rear spring spacer is a breeze to install don’t let no shop charge you a arm and a leg cause it only takes 30 minutes
The bolts included are fine unless you plan to really baja it then you can get the bolts from ace Lowe’s Home Depot etc
And I cleared 20x12 on the 2” leveling kit with 285s
I also cleared 24x10s on 33/12.50s with a 3”
What size wheel are you trying to step up to? I cleared the x12 wides on...
60$ vs 330$ no real difference in the quality and I’ve ran that brand for years without any issues at all.
I think I did eventually swap out the bolts for some stronger grade 8 zinc plated ones but that was about it
You can buy the same spacers separately on Amazon and eBay for around 100$ if not cheaper. No need to spend 350$ if you can spend 100$ on the same stuff..
Also the Tahoe Yukon and Escalade models of that 07-18 body style use the same suspension
Same for the front anything from a 07-18 Silverado...
I’m in eastern nc but the stuff I have is tan and black in color so it probably won’t match up to your interior without painting it
I have 3rd row seats and both front seats and plastics from the front door panels to the trunk in tan/black
I’ve used blue devil products to seal up a radiator before with good luck but I don’t know if I would add it to the oil that’s just me. How bad is the leak? My rear seal has leaked since I got my Tahoe and I just add a quart between oil changes and send it
The torque converters have issues on this body style and if they replaced it with the same factory converter then that’s probably why it’s been changed twice now. Upgrading the converter to a good billet style converter should fix the issue
Then all you gotta worry about is the lifter issues lol
Same thing the only one that is different is the Escalade cluster I swapped one in my Tahoe and had to splice the harness together to make it work but the Tahoe Yukon Silverado and sierra are plug and play
Stock links should be fine just weld a new mount onto the frame and same with the axles as long as you have a differential drop already if you don’t then get one
I think kryptonite makes some heavy duty ball joints for these trucks I’ve had good luck with their suspension parts on me past 3 trucks with no issues
Make sure to get grade 8 or higher bolts when you go to put them in
Get a real cold air intake that’s sealed and gets air from the fender vent vs a cheap specter one that don’t do much
I put resonators and a x pipe to eliminate the drone and frapping I got from no cats and Longtubes
I have the same lift and I actually have it stretched as far as I can go while still maintaining alignment mine is sitting around 8.5-9” of lift
The stock upper control arms should work if it’s set to 6” but if not some extended upper control arms would probably get you straightened out.
I run...
I’m chasing this same issue mine has 400,000 on it and I’ve done plugs wires pcv lines purge canister intake gaskets swapped a couple coil packs out and changed a 02 sensor and nothing has seemed to help
I run “sea light” brand from Amazon 30$ a set so around 95-100$ for highs low and fogs and their plenty bright I’ve had them for a couple years now with no issues I put some in dads truck because new halogen ones from AutoZone were 60-70$ I said I can get led ones for half the price and they...
