    Yep, fascinating that besides the brake packages and the OEM tires the SSV/PPV are becoming more software changes than physical. The option codes are in the truck, which makes me think that you can probably make a civilian Tahoe a PPV/SSV and disable the stupid tech with the right software.

    The one other item to consider is the fill time for the two tanks; when the pump clicks off and I give it another one minute to rest I can get another 3-4 gallons in the tanks which means that there's some sort of air release process which needs to occur.     Aftermarket head unit in PPV no sound

    Are you sending signals from the radio to the amp via pre-out? Sometime you have to come out of the radio via RCA and back into the radio via RCA to send the pre-out signal to the Bose amp.

    Since it's the steering column and that uses plastic components that I don't want to break or have to also replace, if it were me I'd buy the switch brand new and then call it a day.

    How do I keep lights off when I start up ?

    It's spring actuated and all you need is to remove the spring for this function to work as intended. From what I've seen on youtube is there is no detent in the off position and needs to be creatively created.

    Bluetooth actually wouldn't be gained moving to the new HDD navigation units. Bluetooth is controlled via the VCIM for Onstar, 2009 was the first year of bluetooth phone calls. There were updates to the VCIM from 2009-2014 but nothing major besides the OnStar functionality which is sadly now gone.
