Ok so i briefly looked at the wires coming off the obd port and followed them with in a feet or 2. I noticed that there is some kind of splitter from one of the wires.

Thank you for looking out. Trust me, I asked myself the same question. Takes alot of reading to try and understand this especially when you find yourself in this situation. If I am able to release that valve then I should be ok, I hope.
