To be more accurte, Idles at about 35-38. Giving it the gas barely gets to 40. Which makes me hopefully think it's a weak sending unit. I'll switch the sending unit and if I don't see an improvement, I'll dump the oil and go to Rotella like I had wanted before......:mad3:
Okay guys got another question for you. Today I had new OEM Shocks replace all around. Too nice of a ride for me to lift the truck. Anyway I had the oil changed while it was in the shop. I decided to get Mobil 1 5W30. My oil pressure dropped almost 5psi. About 44psi hi and idling 35psi. Any...
I saw that on mine. They did have them all the way around. I loved the ride so much, I sold the lift kit and just today had front and back OEM shocks replace. Man, I must be getting old, but I sure do love the ride. ;)
At one time (Being my favorite), I thought Fram was one of the best out there. Then I read somewhere that it was one of the worst out there. Might be coming from the same people saying 'Coffee is good for you' one year and the next it's not good for you......:disgust: Now I just use Wix. Used...
Would Rotella T4 or T6 work okay on my 2006 Yukon XL Denali? I've used them on all my 5.7L Suburbans. 1998, 1999, another 1999, 1996. Any help appreciated. :)
Thanks Philippe
I bought a 2006 Yukon XL Denali and there isn't a front license plate bracket. Same here I'd hate to drill holes in the bumper. I'm having to keep the front plate on the dash for now. Here in Texas it's the law to have both plates showing. And no smoke covers. Got a warning on my Challenger for...
I've decided not to lift the Denali for now. I like the ride as is now. Rides like a Caddy. I did get some replacement OEM shocks for the front and rear though. As for the Rough Country 2" lift kit, I'll just put it away for now. Just got the truck back from Mexico. Think they used it as a parts...
Hi Guys
I'm showing a code of P0455 on my 6.0L Denali and was wondering what might be the first place to look for this (EVAP) Malfunction? Thanks Guys. Any help appreciated.
I just put up my daily driver for sale today. Just got my Denali Suburban back from the paint shop and don't need 2 SUVs. Was using it as a Bike trailer Hauler.
If I where to add a 3" Lift to the front and a 2" Lift to the Rear to my 06' Yukon XL Denali would I have to give up the Auto Suspension setUp...? Might be a silly question but man, I love the ride as is, but would like the truck a bit higher.... ;)
For sure. My freind will be the installer, seeing as how I'd short the whole thing out. Almost burned down my Challenger 2 years ago just adding a horn assy to it.
