i forgot about that. Getting off at aramingo is a shit show and they should have kept bridge st.. I used to live like minutes from the bridge st exit so that would be extremely inconvenient. I’m up in Bensalem now.
Idk if you’re on Facebook but if you get on marketplace, just search Tahoe...
If it comes down to replacement…. What part of Philly are you in? If you’re familiar with riders lumber right off bridge st, there’s a yard right next door full of GM trucks. They strip Down and part out. Very reliable guys and reasonable.
I did the front end on my 15 Denali almost a year ago. I had a wheel hub going bad, 2 control arms with play and a leaking strut. I used all moog parts from rock auto. I think I was at about $600 on parts before struts. Some members will say to stick with Gm genuine parts, and I won’t...
Pretty cool. Have never seen one in person or online. Never seen a rendering or anything. Just some wild dream build of mine.
I’ve only ever seen NBS dually conversions and thought they were soo cool
I’d build a 2015+ suburban or Yukon XL dually… I have no good reason to even own a dually but this is always in the back of my mind when I think about this kind of stuff.
I don’t actually know about the Denali ones but I can tell you that the Denali is wired to work with the Escalade running boards and the lights work.
I have the Escalade boards on my Denali.
I’ve been a member since 2018 but I didn’t really start to get active until 2020 when I bought my most recent Gm suv. When I asked redundant questions , the responses definitely weren’t that nice and I recall one time I almost cursed a few people out and swore I was leaving. Hahaha but I bit my...
Let me throw a hypothetical at you.
Let’s say down the road you get into an accident with another vehicle and someone in either vehicle gets severely hurt. That accident will be investigated further than your average accident because now they want to know what caused it and whose fault it...
Which year truck is your Diablo in tune working with? I still have mine from my 11 sierra. I unmarried it before I sold the truck. But never really dabbled with my 2015 because I figured gas mileage was already rough with the 6.2 I didn’t see a need to make it worse.
All I know is that when I’m due again next month, I’m just gonna pull it a week before my appointment. Last year I failed then went back a week later with minimal driving and my systems were ready enough to be tested.
And just like @Doubeleive said a scanner will help you too
Impressive. I remember a few years ago we drove down to concord NC from PA. My gps right now is telling me that’s 542 miles. I remember burning atleast 2 full tanks of gas in the ford excursion v10 we borrowed for the trip.
I wouldn’t say they’re “plastic coated”. But most chrome wheels in my experience will start to flake when neglected over years. Especially in the rust belt and heavily salted areas.
Might be late to the party but sherwin willilams has the absolute best color match paint. I don’t buy their paint because I’m cheap, but If I ever need to match then they’re my go to.
On the older trucks you just had to get a clock spring from the same vehicle that offered heated steering wheel. It has an extra wire and you run 12v power to it. That was it.
I would imagine the 2015+ would be similar as I can see some online that offer heated wheel just have an additional...
Makes sense. I’ve noticed that too. A lot of places won’t install customer supplied tires now. So that kinda brings tire rack and all them other tire websites to a lesser value for customers .
But I get it. As a contractor, dealing with customer supplied stuff is a headache. They’ll buy the...
with that being said. Would you guys take a job if someone brought in their strut assembly with a new strut? Or was it only worth the work if you guys were doing the job on the vehicle start to finish.
If I had to do it again. I’d buy the shocks and see if I could find a mechanic that would compress the spring and rebuild the shock at a fair price. Then install myself. If it made sense cost wise. L
I bought a “heavy duty” spring compressor to do my front struts and I’ll tell you I was...
looking into that now. If I had a damn concrete pad in the yard they would never need trimmings.
One time they went to the kennel for 3 days… all the running back and forth with the other dogs did wonders for their nails.
Well the dog hammock was an epic fail. He flailed so much the joist in the garage we’re moving too much for my comfort. We let him down after about 10 seconds of freaking out. Back to the drawling board.
