ok thanks. Why would it not blow air out very while on high then? I know if it had a cab filter that would be a good sign that it is plugged.

all right. I also know that the blend doors were a problem on them and I haven't fix that yet. could that be part of my issue?

The blend door COULD be an issue, but if they were, the main symptom would be not being able to switch from one function to another, say from face vents to defrost or floor, etc.

Hold the compressor here. The blend door/flap in these is considered the temp control door the output control flaps are considered to be the mode flaps. And since when did the blend doors an sustained issue?

Not really in fact there are probably the most reliable moving part in the HVAC box. The actuating arms from the mode flaps can become disengaged from time to time but still not very often. Maybe once in the lifetime of the vehicle. On mine the only thing that needs replacing is the recirc motor actuator. The gears inside are jumping on a a specific tooth. And my vehicle sees a large amount of vibration.
