Mine is now working without issue as of now. It was trial and error of "should just be the antenna" which took a couple of days to get it in stock and painted and then swapped out. It worked for a few hours (GPS and OnStar, I never had the backup camera or other issues) and then went red on the mirror and slash over GPS again. This time the dealer ordered the OnStar module and that came with a software update and I haven't had any issues since.

If I were to advise someone who was having the same issue, I would say demand both the OnStar Module and the Antenna together as there seems to be issues at least with those two parts and replacing the Antenna should fix any water leak issues with the old design or bad batch.

I'm glad to hear your GPS is finally working DC Yukon. I agree, both the antenna and Onstar module need to be replaced. Since I had both replaced I haven't had any issues.

So I got the Yukon back on Wednesday night but haven't had time to post yet. The replacement antenna has fixed the GPS issue but what is interesting is the service description on my receipt. It specifically states that water entering the antenna housing causes an issue with the signal. Lets hope the Onstar module doesn't go out now.

Also, instead of replacing my radio unit they updated the firmware to fix the screen roll issue. But the next day the it happened again. Emailed my service technician and they are going to get ahold of TAC for a solution.

I have only owned the car for a month, I will be happy when all these bugs are ironed out.

Ha, Motor Trend has a long term 2015i Tahoe LT in their fleet. Latest issue that arrived yesterday has an update and states "There is one issue that has popped up that I have not yet had the opportunity to have checked out. The navigation currently has the Tahoe in the Santa Barbara area for some reason. That's odd because the navigation was working just fine when it first came in"

I wonder if these problem trucks came off the assembly line around the same time.
I believe the last 6 digits of the VIN designate production number and there's a sticker on the body by the lower right when you open the drivers door that will indicate month and year of assembly. Also the sticker on the door will indicate the state it was assembled.

My number: 519288
Fabricated: 10/14
Assembled: Texas

Mine was built on 10/20/14. Never had problems with GPS but had a leaky onstar antenna. No issues of any kind after it was replaced.

I got the dreaded no signal gps sign too. Only 500 miles into it. There's other issues too. My screen would flicker a little bit at startup. My shifter makes a clicking noise when shifting. And the black panels above the tail lights is very loose. Dropped it off at the dealer and was told that they would have to keep it for a couple of days. Hope everything gets resolved. We really love the yukon.

I have the dreaded no gps signal too! Only 500 miles into it. I also have other issues with the Yukon. My screen flickers during start ups, my shifter makes a funny clicking noise while shifting, and the panels above the tail lights on the exterior is loose on both sides. Dropped it off to the dealer and was told it would take a couple of days to fix the issues. Hopefully they can make everything right. It's a shame because I really like the Yukon.

I have a 2015i LTZ built in Feb 2015. Got the dam water leak from antenna.

What causes the leak and what is different about the replacement antenna? Seal looks good to me except for little gap at the back but people claim that even replacements still have this )(vent or drain??)
