I am new to this site, but I have been reading this forum for several weeks. I just purchased a 2015i Yukon SLT 4WD, Quicksilver with Jet black interior, adaptive cruise control, open road package, and trailering package.

So far I absolutely love this SUV. I previously had a 2013 Acadia SLT-2. The Yukon cockpit offers much more storage, great driving position, all the latest bells and whistles that the Acadia still doesn't get, and is only 3" longer and wider!

That being said the GPS and Onstar was not working, it had the GPS indicator with the red X through it. The dealer I purchased it from was familiar with the issue and ordered a new Onstar module for it. The part came in today (took about 1 week) and took them only 2 hours to install today, and now the GPS and Onstar are working.

The only issue although I'm not sure if it is really an issue is programming the liftgate for a custom 3/4 height opening. It seems there is only a very small range that can be set as a custom height. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Congrats! I really like the silver. In fact it's my favorite color. Behind white of course ;-) which according to artists isn't a color but scientists is the combination of all the colors so either way silver would technically have to be my favorite color correct?

:hmmm2:

Welcome to the site and enjoy the new ride.

Nice Tahoe. I'm doing a silver/black 2015 4x4 too.

I don't have an answer on the liftgate. Glad your nav is working now.

I'm in the process of deciding between the GMC slt or the Chevy lt same color as yours 4 wheel drive hoping they have that issue figured out what did you pay for it if you don"t mind. Did you get any options?

I have about 800 miles on mine so far. I tested the AWD and 4WD high settings in some snow and ice we had and it worked fine for me, no issues. I also debated the SLT over the Tahoe LT and went with the SLT obviously. One of the main reasons for my choice was the GMC leather is a bit nicer than the Tahoe's, plus you can't get cooled seats on the Tahoe LT. I have the open road package, adaptive cruise control, and max towing package. Sticker price was about $64,600, but I paid about $58,100.
