I am absolutely loving my 2015i. Very few nits to pick except for this one...the distance relationship between the accelerator and brake pedals is off, way off. The brake pedal sits far further ahead of the accelerator to the point that it's really uncomfortable. I'd say that the accelerator is 2 1/2 - 3 inches behind the brake pedal which is a considerable distance.

I've never had a vehicle with such a large difference between the gas pedal and brake pedal. I know they are adjustable but they move in unison so the relationship between them always stays the same. I just can't seem get a comfortable position - if the accelerator is good, then the brake is too far forward, if the brake is good then the accelerator is too far away.

Hoping the dealer can make an adjustment of one or the other to close the distance between them just a bit.

I have not noticed that with mine but I'll check when I get home. That's very strange.

Mine is the same way. Guess I don't notice it with how I drive. I have my foot kinda leaned over and only the tip of my toes are actually on the gas. Let us know if your guys can do anything about.

Funny you mention this. I noticed it today. Any feedback from the dealer?

Learn to drive with both feet. One on the brake pedal and one on the gas. Sorry just being a $marta$$.

Got with the dealer and they said the pedals cannot be adjusted independently. They will only move in unison.

That bites...I must be more sensitive to it than others but it really bothers me. Not sure why GM would make the distance so much more than other vehicles...never noticed this before on any other vehicle. Wondering if it's so much that it's a potential safety issue with drivers with small feet since a small foot (at the toe area especially) could fit in between the pedals and get stuck causing an accident.

Not a good move on GM's part, in my view.

You're not alone on this issue. I'm having to deal with this also. It is kind of a safety issue as I have had my foot get caught behind the brake pedal! You can actually see where the left side of my right foot rubs the corner of the brake pedal by looking at the bleckened area of my Timberlands. I never had this in any of my more than 15 previous GM trucks. Sometimes I wonder if the engineers ever spend any time in the vehicles. I do love this truck though!
