I am the proud owner of a 2015 Yukon. So far, really enjoying the new ride (came out of a 2002 Yukon)

One disappointment is that there is no "cargo hook" for connecting the top of a envelope style cargo net in the back of the truck. You would think for the money, there would be one there!

This is extra important to me, because the fold flat 3rd row seats do not quite fold flat ;-). So every trip to the grocery store results in canned goods and produce rolling out of the back as soon as I get home and open the lift gate.

I have been to the dealer to see if I can order (or find out a part number) for the hook - no luck. Even the dealers don't seem to have any info yet. I have also been on GMC.com and chatted with someone, who equally have no idea. GM sells a cargo net for 50 bills, but according to the parts manager it does not come with the hooks (plus I already have the net from my old vehicle).

Any leads or ideas?

They all have the option for the cargo net.

Thanks Nathan, that is what I am trying to find out. How do you purchase the connectors and screws? My dealer could not find a part number or any reference for the part. Do you have a part number?

I just left but I can call back in a little bit.

I love my new 2015 Yukon. The electronics and ride are unmatched. It is a truly beautiful vehicle. It is the third Yukon I have owned and the best.
My issue is with the rear cargo area. It is sloped toward the back of the truck creating a dangerous situation for cargo. Anything you put in the rear of the truck gravitates toward the rear lifting door. When you lift the rear door everything falls out. My tool box fell out onto my foot today. GMC needs to supply us with a cargo net system ASAP. It looks like there is an indentation for a top rod and bottom cleats to accommodate a cargo net but where is it.

Working on a better solution

The compartment behind the third row seats comes out. I ordered one yesterday to use as a template. I am going to build a 12 gauge safe a little taller and sloped toward the third seats. This will provide secure storage and prevent items from rolling or sliding out.
Stay tune for further developments.

Some of the accessory parts are still hard to come by. They cant even order my cargo cover yet, the computer says they are still not available.

I sounds like you are trying to make your old net work, if that is the case, the individual clips and hooks may not be available.

You're absolutely correct. I was hoping to re-use my old net. It seems that the only way to buy the hooks is to buy the entire net. I may have to bite the bullet and spend the $50.
As Big Moe stated, everything in the back rolls out when you open the lift gate. Quite annoying, and poor design.
