Need a place to mount my phone dock

Looking for ideas on where I can mount my phone dock. I went with this dock

Not sure I like the windshield mounting or mounting it on top of the dash. Looking to integrate it maybe a little somewhere near the radio or a/c controls.

Here's mine, obviously it's not a dock but it may give you an idea.

thanks for the pic. i thought about making some sort of insert that i can attach the mount bracket to and sticking it in the cubby.

just trying to figure out where the best place would be for it. not sure i want to block the vent, but it seems like that would be a good place to mount it.

i use proclip. there are quite a few setups
