I did not want to fiber glassed in, because I know I will change tablets sooner or later. This also makes it easy to take in and out. Tethered to my phone, I have access to the Internet, Pandora, Google maps and so on. I am using the aux in on my hu for audio and it sounds great.

Looks really good ... in fact these look better on the nbs than the nnbs cause there's too much stuff in that spot for us to put it there. So the only way is like this:

What year is your truck? And did it come with the wood grain? Looks clean by the way.

It's an 02 Southern Comfort edition and it came with the wood grain.

Diffrnt, looks really good. How did you mount it?

I used a 6" Ram mount extension that I screwed down to a metal bracket at the back of the console. The actual holder is made by Ram but for a Motorola Xoom. I had to modify it for the Transformer. I used to have my eq in that spot, but now as you see it's by the cup holders.
