Repair.
I believe the struts are too weak. I can hear the motor run and the gate unlocks but will not raise. Last year i put a new gear on it so i know that is good.

my road magnet picked up some more metal, while that was being patched (luckily) I usually take the opportunity to inspect my brakes and etc and found only one of the parking brake cables was going thru the brace/bracket and was rubbing on the gas tank a smidge so corrected that.

tranmission fluid and both filters changed. I always forget just how much 12qt of tranny fluid really is. almost over flowed my oil drain tank. weird hybrid things haha, no tc mean all 12qt drains out for a filter change. well 2 filters.

did oil and filter while up too.

183k and counting. fingers crossed for the tranny and lifters haha.

Got the lumbar support changed out today and it sure is nice to have that fixed
Also put on a new seat cover. Kind of a pita to get it snapped into the clips in the foam but alls good now.

need to do my bottom cover also, the foam seems ok but I have a new one anyway did you pull the seat out or do it with the seat still in.

It only takes maybe 5 minutes to take it out.
I have had the drivers bottom cover and foam sitting here for probably 3-4 years. I only bought the drivers bottom but now I want to do both sides and the 2nd row but money dictates otherwise.

That metal is really sharp.
he asked me how old the wheels are I said 14 years, he's 14 lol but I ya i am impressed the oem chrome is till holding up there was some really superficial rust/pitting in a couple spots it came right off with good ol'e turtle wax chrome polish, anything else is small dings or scratches.
or it covered it up one of the two.
the caps are plasti-chrome they could probably be cleaned up more with a small brush maybe, stupid things are about $40 each used. If I take it anywhere to be worked on I pull the covers and put them inside so they don't get broken, tossed, lost.
