I am looking at buying this:

I know that Husky, Lasfit, and Weathertech also make their own versions.

I had weathertech mats before and the rubber started to curl, wasn't a fan.

Does anyone have the OEM GM liner, is it worth the money or should I get one of the aftermarkets?

Should have a lifetime warranty if installed by the dealer.

I bought all of the GM mats when I bought my 2021 Suburban used in 2024. They look just like the WeatherTechs. I like the GM mats. I don't remember what I payed as I bought a whole bunch of GM accessories at one time.

I own the GM mats and the Lasfit mats. Here are the pros/cons of each.

GM:
Cons - Very thin and cheap feeling, Does not cover the whole of the back seat, trunk mat will not stay down (velcro is horrible, need to find a better solution

Pros - OEM, Design keeps as level of a floor as possible

Lasfit:
Cons - The velcro is crazy strong so if you need to reposition be prepared to pull up some of the fabric, Creates a non-flat load floor because of design,

Pros - Thicker rubber, feels more premium, much better coverage across the back seats, very grippy with deep groove (could also be a con in certain instances).

Right now I the lasfit in my Tahoe but I may go back to the GM. They seem to work better with the backseats sliding under the trunk mat when going up/down.

Thanks guys. I ended up just buying the GM becuase I had $150 in GM points I had….

Seems like they will be OK for my needs. I’m more worried about it laying flat and looking good vs. super thick protection. It’s just for the kids sports stuff I’m not hauling nasty crap, that’s for my f150 beater.

For your use case, you made the right call.

I just now switched from my LasFit back to the GM. The more flat load floor is far more important to me, although the LasFit has much better coverage for the third row when folded down

How was the GM kit to install? Does the GM Velcro hold the panel well?

Super easy to install.

The Velcro works fine for the back of the 3rd row. The piece on the floor of the trunk is a different story. It comes with an adhesive backed Velcro and that will not grip the fabric.

I need to find a very specific Velcro that will grip it and then add it. It’s by far the worst part of the design

I’d think the bottom part of it that attaches to the floor would need to slide a little for the seats to go up and down? I guess I’ll find out soon.

Nope! The bottom part of the 3rd row seat backs do slide under the trunk mat, however the mat itself does not need to move at all. It just can not have any velcro in the areas where the two parts meet.

Meaning you could have velcro around 95% of the mat so long as it does not interfere with what the 3rd row slides under. Youll see what I mean when you receive it

Yes I see what you mean. There are 2 sticky pads that hold the floor liner. It’s actually holding OK now, if it’s a problem I’ll just use a large adhesive strip. I do realize though they want the floor liner to be easily removable because you can’t use the rear storage with it there. Other than that it looks good and I’m happy with it. Minor issue for me

Looking good!

There is a certain kind of velcro you will need to use to hold it to the carpet. I have no idea which, working to figure that out. I think if you graciously applied it to the two corners closest to the liftgate, it will allow the 3rd row to still slide under and give you access to latch for the hidden storage.

Had the GM liner since delivery (1.5yrs) w/ zero regrets & used weekly as I lay my road bike horizontal on them when cycling away from home.

The issue that I have is that when you put bug suitcases in and pull them out it moves the liner and pulls it off the Velcro. I am going to install some snaps (super easy to do) to keep the liner in place.

If you wouldn’t mind sharing what you ended up using for snaps, I’d sure appreciate it - having the same issue as you with it sliding every time I throw something big in there.
