when I had a my gmt800 I ended up grounding the headlight circuit right to the frame under the lights (both sides), solved a flickering problem I had.
it's only 3 wires, low/high/ground. Headlights are normally grounded so doesn't hurt anything.

Which one is G104? Drivers side engine block? I’ve done that one but might get in there and do it again.
@Firebirdracer82 Was it the driver's side rear block? What is meant by you having done that one before, but it was disconnected by PO...are we talking about the same ground point?

Correct the prior owner swapped the trans and didn’t bolt back this ground. Think it had intermittent weak ground sitting on the block but that ground was the one.
