Am I the only one that'd rather have untinted and have tint film installed afterwards to have an even tinted portion as deep and dark as I wanted instead of the thin fade style reminiscent of the 70s?
I might have to try that! for me at only 5'10", a lower tint band would not obstruct my view, even with the seat all the way up.
The real reason I don't like my windshield tint band, the mirror spots go further down the windshield, and it has the illusion of a wavy looking tint band.
Mostly noticeable from the outside, just looks wrong, if you know whaddamean..

I like the factory faded line tint and then I put a layer of ceramic on the whole thing.. the highest quality clear film I can get.

you can't tell it's there but it cuts the uv and the night glare some.

Trans mount on '12 Yukon, last mount to do after both motor mounts and front diff brackets. The RH motor mount made a huge difference in overall smoothness.

The trans mount looked ok overall, but had a crack where it met the metal bracket.

Hooked up the flatbed trailer and hauled my old John Deere mower to my dad's for an early father's day gift and loaded his old Craftsman onto it and delivered it to one of my older brother's friends house for him to have.
Musical mowers... like musical chairs, but a place for each one.

Basically, lol.

I'm just glad that we found a home for the old Craftsman and didn't have to figure out what to do with it. It still worked, just getting pretty rusty and the tires don't hold air longer than a day.
This.

I am 6’4” as well and have the seat all the way down and back. I don’t like it reclined very much though.

I like the fade out transition rather than a solid line because of where my line of sight is. My rear view is a blind spot for me sometimes. However, I don’t know how far down the factory tint line comes on these. I wouldn’t expect much more than 3” or so.

Maybe it's a "short" guy thing. I'm 5'-11". I'm kinda old school and like a dark brow for as much shade as possible. Having a factory faded portion in combination with the tinted brow looks goofy to me. I get brows that go below the AS1 line, though.

On the next go 'round, to be less obvious, I might get the factory tinted one cuz I wanna lightly tint my whole windshield instead of getting a brow. I'm not ready for a new windshield yet, though.

I'm a fan of the brow myself. Once I get this windshield situation sorted out, I'm going to tint the whole thing 50% and do a 15% brow. I'll keep the factory "tint" at the top. I don't think it will change the look on the outside but it will make it darker. I drive in the sun going to and from work. It helps alot
