Hi all,

I have a remote, bluetooth OBD scanner that I use on my '03 Yukon. It is apparently an ELM327 module, and I have several apps I use with it: Torque, AlfaOBD (demo) and CHevroSys.

I wonder, is there a way for me to pull in the trans temp from one of these programs? I really don't need it all the time, just looking for the impact of my cooler, and want to be aware of typical operating temp. I thought there was an internal sensor?

Thanks all

torque app can read trans temp. press and hold a blank area, add gauge, then find the trans temp pid. you should do that in the truck with it running. everything bight green is a good pid.

Thanks man. I actually looked through the optional PID's and it looks like the only one is "trans temp, method 2" I added it and it collects no data. Is there another one I should try? Maybe I got the wrong one somehow.
