Yeah, it does suck. This is my 2nd 2021 Yukon and it rattles now (9500 miles). Creaking sound from instrument cluster. Sounds like the clear plastic is rubbing the hard black trim. Now a rattle coming from where headliner meets the plastic trim that seat belt is attached to (left side of my head). 2nd row seats creak a God awfull sound intermittently.

Then on drive home today I saw a new Yukon Denali getting pulled onto a tow truck while at a gas pump. Lifters I suppose.. Crazy, these trucks really are problematic (I lemon law'd my 1st 2021).
Any success resolving the instrument cluster creak? Mine creaks quite a bit, as if the plastic around the instrument cluster that’s pushing against the large soft top dash area is “too snug” and can’t expand sufficiently causing creaking sounds.

I found the location of the creak and wedged a piece of rigid black paper (really thin cardboard) between the clear plastic and hard black plastic trim. The sound has been gone ever since. It's really not noticeable as my steering wheel blocks it from my line of sight.

Nice thanks! I might try that. Not a bad alternative for having to take apart the entire dash :)

Yes and every time you take it in for a warranty repair, it's always worse than before. I recently had one of the captains chairs repaired; due to a faulty track (so they say). The dealer replaced the track and when I got the truck back the seat no longer auto folded, the seat adjustment handles rubbed and the leather seat was torn. I was so mad... They had to order and replace everything new and still the plastic side covers wont close/latch all the way. I can't imagine what a dash "repair" would do to all the plastics. You can guarantee the creaks will be much worse... so a small piece of cardboard it is! LOL

I was about to tear the dash out of my 2023 suburban with this issue but after riding in the passenger seat and tapping the dash and infotainment screen I realized that it was actually the plastic around the rear view mirror and the sound was resonating down to the dash. I put a little foam strip between it and the windshield problem solved. Hope this helps I have seen many people with this issue on Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban
I have this issue in my Yukon. Are you able to show exactly where you placed the foam strip? Where did you get the foam strip?
