Hello, I just purchased a 2012 tahoe which has a bose system in it. Im replacing the factory head unit with an aftermarket pioneer hu. With the factory HU, the speakers work fine, however when i replace it it does not I just get no sound. I have purchased an interface to use. I think the issue is with the harness, which im about to re solder, or that the stock amp is not being powered. Any ideas?

well the interface has to be compatible with bose, you do not give any details
if you bought the cheapest one out there that could be a reason why or if you bought one for the wrong year, they made changes in 2010+
and some do not support bose fade or dsp but would still function for the most part.

Check if X1 pin 6 (white wire) is connected. Factory manual only said it was needed for U42, which I don't have. But I did need to connect it. Mine is UQA standard bose system.

I now buy my stuff at Crutchfield. you can get them to do all the wiring for you, including either bypassing or incorporating the Bose system. Which i had to do in the beginning when i started to piece together my audio system. it was literally plug and play. worked the first time i turned it on. hope this helps!!
