Ordered a Tahoe high country first day in June 2022 You Could Pl. the order November 2022 I was told they don’t know what happened to the order I should re-order so I ordered another one got a letter stating that GM was very sorry for the delay and my Tahoe would be built end of March end of March is come and gone and April is coming gone End of May has come and gone and still no Tahoe on either order GM plays dumb and says they don’t understand why it’s a year and I still have no Tahoe high country I cannot understand why a company would not build sold orders before they build other vehicles that are not sold I been a GM customer all my life but that may very soon change I understand if there are supply problems but this is ridiculous a year and they can’t build a car that’s already sold

Man, I went that route initially. Had a Premier order since Nov '21 and nothing hit. Put in order with a dealer for a Denali in Sept 22 and as of Feb 23, no hit. Tried one more dealer in March of '23 and I finally have a Vin, awaiting a spot on train. I'd suggest trying another dealer. They're getting built fast now before summer shutdown.

Your issue is not really w/ GM, it is with your dealer...they apparently do not have an allocation for a HC w/ no constraints on the options you are looking to get.

I assure you that GM has built MANY Tahoe HC's since you have ordered....you should familiarize yourself w/ GM's dealer allocation process (search on here, there are many threads which discuss).
Then start asking the inventory manager at your dealer this question: Do you have allocation for the Vehicle optioned as I ordered? Without that, your order will sit. Production has been freeing up for at least 6 months...so there must be something in your order which is causing constraints...or your dealer is not being honest w/ you.

Where are you located? You might consider a different dealer.

Also, consider checking the inventory site on chevrolet.com and see if there are any unspoken for on the lot...my area seems to be starting to have inventory at dealers now. A search within 500 miles of my zip code shows 205 HC Tahoes within 500 miles of me.

Allocations are the issues. I’ve got the only 2 my dealer has received for the 23 model year so far.

It took me about 10 months to get my Tahoe. I did have to custom order it because all they have on the lot had captains chairs in the second row. (I hate that) I prefer a bench seat in the second row. Anyway, I never could get solid information about the progress of the vehicle. NOBODY knew ANYTHING. When I finally received it, it was in good order, but missing two chips, that I will never get.

At this point this is getting more than ridiculous as I stated I ordered a Tahoe high country the first day you could order it in June of last year the order number was BTWWMH in November of last year GM recommended that I re-order that they didn’t know what happened to my order number so it was re-ordered order number CHNNTP in February I got an email from Arlington plant stating that they were very sorry for the delay in my order that the Tahoe would be built late March obviously that was a lie it has nothing to do with allocation or anything else at this point a year later after the order the only possible thing is discrimination because other Tahoe‘s have been ordered and come into that dealer after mine and mine still does not have a bill date a year later Way to go GM you’re on top of everything

I'd say, if you have 2 "confirmed" order numbers, I would call the Chevrolet Assistance Center, calmly explain your situation, note that you tried to addres it w/ your dealer, but have not gotten straight answers. Ask them for help, saying you are trying to buy a vehicle, and are getting nowhere...Honestly, not sure where you are, but perhaps just go to Chevrolet.com on the inventory site, and see if anything is around that is close to what you are looking for that is on a lot. There are dealers beginning to have stock now. Sorry this is happening, but your dealer, or another one should be able to get you one on the way...
